New to iPads!

Hello all, I recently had a chance to play with an iPad. I'm still on the fence about it, but interested in learning more. I'm a freelance writer, and still a little iffy about the touchscreen typing...

As far as typing, Apple (among others) makes a full size BlueTooth keyboard that can be used with an iPad.

I've used Apple's camera connection kit to connect to a standard USB keyboard. It throws a "device incompatible" popup window when plug the keyboard in, click on it to dismiss it and then you're off typing whatever you need to.
