New user starting thread as requested by forum

Jumped from a 10 year old Dell PC right to the iPad 2-please be kind.
Came to the forum as a google query for need for downloading additional security brought me here. I'm a health care provider and vocalist. Most of my searches are focused on these issues. I also have 3 kids, two out of the house, and I use the ipad to keep in touch with them and help the 3rd with school assignments.

Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!
