Ok so this is a really silly question from an old git, but this is the first tablet I've ever had, and never had a laptop. So on my Imac I can play a game of chess on chess shredder, simply by logging on to the site and moving the pieces. How does one do this on the mini, when I try to move the piece the screen moves of course. There must be an easy answer i guess, but I can't find it by posting on google, obviously too dumb a question to have any cntent. Any response polite of course appreciated. Thanks.

In order to play Shredder Chess, you have to buy the app. You can do many things on the iPad but you have to think of the phrase, is there an app for that? Shredder Chess app is highly rated but it is expensive! Here is a screen shot of the app from the AppStore:

Many Thanks MattIM, Yes so it appears. I'm getting used to it slowly. Not too bothered about the apps side as many are quite cheap, but won't be forking out for shredder. Having only just moved to Snow Lepoard, and finding that Lion has gone from the app store though, I am finding I'm going to need to spend more money. Current memory 1gb won't support Mountain Lion, so it looks like I'm going to have to spend £80 British Pounds to upgrade that before anything else, if only to get the full benefit from icloud on all my stuff. Cheers once again.
