No, you're fine. As of right now, there is no existing virus for the iPads. You're safe. Just be sure to do the "normal" things when surfing online: don't give out personal information unless you know you are on a secure site (URLs start with httpS), ensure your WiFi connection is secure and don't go to banking sites or such while in public places (their WiFi security may not be as secure as yours at home). You know - the standard "stuff" to be done any time you surf the Web.
