New member today. Bought the IPAD about 1 week ago. I love this thing.
But I do have some questions. Hope it's ok to start. What is recommended for
anti spyware/$ anti virus software for the ipad?

Welcome!! As far as getting a virus....it's almost impossible. Because IOS is a "closed" OS (controlled by apple) they tests all programs for viruses,bugs,spyware,ect before you ever load it on your device.
