Newer I Pad for Christmas!

Hi. I received an I Pad for Christmas and I don't have a clue what it can or can't do, the first thing I would like to know is whether Ican transfer photos direct from my camera or I pod direct to it? Also can I print from my I Pad (any explanations need to be very basic)!!!!

Have a look below and this will give you an idea of what the iPad can do.
Yes it is possible to transfer photos directly from your camera using a Camera Connection kit. Would depend on the age of your camera though but most newer ones are fine.
