Newsstand is just a specialized folder/app for magazine apps from the App Store. It is in no way compatible with the Kindle app, which is an app for reading ebooks (and other content) from Amazon.com.

If you want a particular book, magazine, or newspaper in the Kindle app, you'll have to buy it from Amazon.
