Not Syncing Audiobook

I just got my iPad after already having an iPod Touch. I have a bunch of audiobooks I keep on th iPod. When I synced the iPad they all went on the iPad and now I can't get thm off. Is there someway to delete them off the iPad? The swipe delete that I do for Podcast episodes doesn't work and I tried unchecking them in iTunes and resyncing, but none of that is working.

Any ideas?

You can un-check them in two locations. Click on the iPad when connected, then go to (inside the iPad window) and uncheck them from there.

Then re-sync and it should work.

I did uncheck them in both spots and they still stay on the iPad when I sync.

How exactly do you have them stored? Under music?

On both iTunes and the iPad they are listed under Audiobooks. They were downloaded from Audible.com to iTunes.

Edit: Okay I got them off the iPad, but I ad to delete them off of iTunes and then resync.

Hm... I didn't even know about Audible. I came to help and ended up learning something. Great forum, right?
