Notability is one of the most popular note taking apps from the iTunes store, being released back in 2011. Now, for the first time ever, it is available for free only for a week, as it has been named Apple’s App of the Week. Therefore, you need to hurry up and download it as quick as you can beforeit goes back up to its regular price of $2.99. By using Notability, users can make sketches, take notes, annotate documents, sign contracts, record lectures, and much more. It even supports input via a finger or stylus and includes palm rejection to make note taking easier and seem more natural.

Welcome to Notability, a powerful note-taker on iPad and iPhone: sketch ideas, annotate documents, sign contracts, complete worksheets, keep a journal, record a lecture, jot travel notes, or teach a class. With iCloud support, your notes always travel with you! Write, illustrate and annotate using gorgeous ink. Notability’s zoom window helps you quickly and clearly draw every detail, while the palm rest protects your notes from unwanted marks. Choose the right pen and paper for any project. Import forms, contracts, worksheets, documents, presentations, and even books; then use the same tools that help you take beautiful notes in Notability to mark up PDFs. Do you have files in other formats such as doc or ppt? Notability can import these too thanks to Google Drive.

It also comes with a built-in text editor and it even has the ability to record audio. iPhone and iPad users can import documents in a wide variety of formats, including PDF, DOC, and PPT. It also comes with iCloud support, which means your notes can be transferred between your iOS devices. It will also work with a number of popular cloud storage tools like Dropbox, Box, and Google Drive.

The app comes with a rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars from nearly 11,000 ratings on the App Store, so there’s no reason why you shouldn’t download it on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.
