Notes and Recordings

I am a college student who will be using my iPad for taking notes and recording lectures. I have seen a few applications that do both - record while you are taking notes. What file sizes are we looking at for hour to 1.5 hour recordings? Does anyone have experience in this area yet? I am a Gmail user with a 25 MB limit for emailing attachments. This information would be helpful.

I am using SoundPaper. It is a great app, records sound the same time you write, then you can press any word to go to that part of the recording. Very convenient indeed.

Smartnotes is pretty decent and it seems they are busy improving and updating their product every other week
