Hi,

I'm new to this forum. Sorry if this is not the right spot to post.

I have an ipod touch second generation. I am trying to obtain a copy of the Find my iphone app that is compatible with this model.

I had to run a factory reset and now I no longer have the older version of this app on my backups.

I'm afraid that unless you have the older version of an app in iTunes on your computer, there's no legal way of obtaining it. In your case, you won't be able to use the find my iPhone app as the current version won't run on your iPod. The only version of an app that's available from the AppStore is the latest available version.
