Offline Credit Card Reader App ?

Hello everyone. I'm looking to obtain a credit card reader app for my iPad 3. The only problem is the location where I'm doing business (inside a US Navy ship) won't have wifi or cellphone reception. Are there any credit card reader apps that don't require a wifi/3g/4g connection to complete a transaction?

How is your iPad to verify the credit card for a purchase? Is it supposed to store the card info on it until you have access to the card service? I doubt that is possible for security reasons but I could be wrong. I know I personally wouldn't allow my credit card to be stored but that is just my opinion
