Okay need an app that does invoicing/bookkeeping.

I want an app that I can use to do invoices etc. I need to be able to have a stocked item say and apple buy price of say $5 then sell it on the invoice for say $7.50 etc.

Then I'd like to be able for the app to give me a profit and loss and sales. I'd also need to add in credit card, fuel and stationary expenses etc.

So what is out there at the moment that is have decent?

These three apps can be found In Appstore, the first mentioned Is the most expensive, but has the most features, have not used It my self, but seems to be one of the better ones.

ie sell 10 apples how much profit made

One of them seem to give a profit but was a total group type profit.

Easy Books for the iPad

Have a look at Easy Books (full disclosure: I am the developer). It now supports invoicing by PDF, you can use your own letter head and is a full double-entry accounting package. So you can track your profit and loss pretty easily with it too.

Muddy if I understand your prices correctly, it would cost about. 50 bucks to do the invoicing and bookkeeping. That too much, I would buy if cheaper.

I agree...too pricey! I started using it, was very easy but just realized that I have to pay $60 to get more transactions and be able to send invoices. Such a disappointment. I really liked it and spent a lot of time imputing customers.

In iTunes the app is listed as a Free app, but when trying to install they still want to charge my card... whats the story? Is it free and just iTunes messing up, or is it not free - and just the price-tag wrong?

I searched for Fresh Books on the Apple Store, but nothing?

I'm looking for an app like Easy Books or Time Master+Billing.

Basically I'm a freelancer who contracts my time out for certain creative and/or marketing jobs. Sometimes I need to bill per hour other times it's a flat rate.

I'd like to have the following:-
- access to all my clients' contact details via the app,
- check for outstanding accounts,
- be able to show a profit and loss,
- raise invoices and email direct from the app,
- prepare and submit quotes
- monthly budget and breakdown
- include GST (VAT)

Any ideas?
