On demand uk tv?

When I originally bought my iPad I planned on watching a lot of the tv shows that I miss whilst in bed.
But in the uk I am limited to BBC iplayer.
Does anyone know about any news of 4od or demand 5 making an appearance for the iPad in the uk anytime soon.

The USA get a lot of really good on demand apps, it's not fair!! Haha

yeah, on demand (other than the iplayer) in the uk is pretty weak. i cant see why ITV and C4 havent bucked up their ideas yet. saying that, their desk top players aren't very good in the first place.
