One Limitation That Is Difficult To Justify

Apple could help be adding the Serial Profile (used by almost all BT GPS receivers) to the BT stack, I don't want to JB my iPad.

Thanks, I was aware of the GNS and may well use it eventually. I think that I mentioned it earlier in this thread.

I already have a BT GPS, and I would like to make use of it, but the iPad won't recognise it, I assume because it uses the BT Serial Profile. On the GNS web site they seem to hint that Apple has either invented a new BT profile (for GPS) or used an obscure one. Most BT GPS devices use the Serial Profile.
