Outlook calendar sync problem

Having problems syncing with outlook calendar. Any known problems with the servers. I can send a calender appoitment from icloudto my pc and from the pc to icloud but not to my iPad.

There's no known issue at the moment. You could report your problem. Here's the link to microsoft service status: https://status.live.com/

Also, look at your default calendar in Settings - Mails, Contacts, Calendar. Perhaps something changed there.
