Pc And Ipad "Name" ?

Hello,

In the iPad Settings/general/About, is the name of the computer they want the name of your PC, or the
Name of the iPad ?

New at this, so pleas pardon the dumb questions.

Also, to transfer pix from the pc to iPad:

I have read the tutorial, but still confused.

Must the iTunes be running on the pc to be able to transfer photos from pc to iPad ?

Must I Sync the iPad first ? What else needs doing so that I can select some photos on pc and move them to the iPad ?

I have them selected via iTunes on the pc. Is this all I have to do on pc ?

That's just what you call the ipad. Change it and it will show as whatever you change it to under itunes when connected to your PC.
