Hi and welcome to the Forum!
Is this how they are arriving on your PC? Had you rotated them first the right way on the iPad before syncing them?

Looks like you held the iPad upside down when taking the photo - the home button should be on the right side.
I do not remember in which OS this happened to me, but it certainly did. Also I do not know if it was changed in another OS, as I always hold my i-devices with the home button right or down...
