What's new

Photos

Yes. Click on your iPad in iTunes when connected, then at the top where it says "Photos". Once you find it, it'll be clear what to do.

First of all, welcome to the forum!

The next thing you should think about doing is downloading a copy of the iPad User Guide. It is available for free in several different formats.

a) As a free PDF download from the Apple website --
Apple - Support - Manuals

This can (and should!) be saved on your computer and your iPad.

b) As a free iBook once you download the free iBook app from the iTunes App Store.

c) Online using the link provided in the Safari favorites on your iPad.

The answers to many questions, especially if this is your first Apple mobile "iDevice", can be answered by spending some quality time with this handy document.

I use an app called "Photo Transfer App" ($2.99 in the app store). It transfers your photos via the web and, so far, I've not had any trouble with it.

You copy photos from your library and then open the app. It'll give you an http:// address to load on your PC and when you go there, you can either download the photos individually or as a zip file.

You can also transfer photos easily from your PC to your iPad's photo library, also via a web address/site.

Whenever I've needed to use it, it's just worked and I've not been sorry that I bought it.

As always, YMMV.
