physically replace original ipad insides with working ipad 2

I've been kicking this idea around for sometime and little googling but didn't turn up any relative hits. I figured this would be my best chance of getting any good advice or helpful ideas. What I've got is a gutted ipad Original (that's the case outter, glass, lcd, digitizer) and a ipad 2 with a busted to all hell screen. Would it be even a feasible option of moving all the ipad 2 internals into the original ipad, sorta like an engine swap between a Toyota Avalon and a Toyota Camry. Thanks
