Physician entrepreneur, new to digital world

Hi Folks!

I'm a physician entrepreneur from San Diego.

I spent my whole life training to become an entrepreneur in the healthcare space. I had no idea it would be in digital technology (always thought it would have to do with genetics or biotech of some sort...)

But post-HITECH Act (part of stimulus bill) and Affordable Care Act, a bunch of attention went into electronization of medicine - a much needed and long-awaited transition.

A new ecosystem for "wireless health", "mobile health" or "mHealth" emerged... And I found it awesome.

The potential for digital technology - i.e. iPad Apps and smartphones - to greatly benefit our healthcare system by making it more efficient and timely is immense.

My personal passion is in preventive health and fitness.

Hope to learn from y'all how to provide the best service for others and successfully reach the folks who might need it the most.

Sincerely,

Royan

Hi again Royan - thanks for your credentials, certainly excellent for your chosen career path!

I looked at your other thread and also the description of the app 'Owaves' - now being retired, I don't have to strictly plan my day as in the past, but a 'life organizational' app in today's world would certainly have helped - good luck w/ your current offering and with future projects. Dave :)
