Picture in Contacts looses proportion

I have all my Microsoft Outlook 2007 contacts with pictures.

When I sync with my Ipad all the contacts transfer in order but all the pictures looses proportion when looking them through the Ipad's contacts, they stretch horizontally.

Been looking for a solution and haven't found it. Need help.

You might want to store your contact photos

In the photo app. I tried emulating your problem but unfortunately I already have the photos on my iPad.

Perhaps another forum member will provide a better solution or at least a clue.
