Pin pointing location

Just wondering whether anyone knows why my ipad2 can't pin point my location, its recently just not doing it lately and just loading. And iv let it load for at least an hour and nothing.
And iv checked the location services in the options and their all on......thanks.

Is this a 3G iPad or a WiFi iPad? Only the 3G iPad has GPS. A WiFi iPad 'tries' to locate itself by accessing a list of WiFi hotspots held by Apple but, if your iPad is not near a registered hotspot, it can't be located.

Which app are you using - is this the iPad's native Maps app? Might be worth trying to completely quit the app in the multi-task bar. This often fixes problems...
