Each time I go onto EBAY I get the following message pop up if I press a button or link

All you have to do is choose the correct gift box.

whats causing it and how do I stop it?

If this is in Safari, try an adblocker. I like Weblock, which also removes ads from most apps; I think it's around $2, well spent. Use the proxy option.
