For myself, only reason I got the iPad mini is for travel, reading the news (Flipboard) and basic web surfing when the Macbook Air 13" seems like too much of a pain to unplug and use.
I always had the black iPad, black iPhones. This is my first white iPad and first white iPhone (5)
Also you black people post up on the scratch issues you are starting to notice any. (reason why I personally got white)
