Seadog iPF Noob Apr 5, 2011 #1 MacRumors has info on a patent for Apple that has added some interesting high speed connections to iOS devices. It supports USB 3.0 and Display Port, and maybe others. We can only hope that it is part of the iPad soon. Maybe even iPad 3?
