How do you reduce the font size when viewing web sites and other app location. Mine has increased so the whole page doesn't show including some of the controls
There are several possibilities here....
You might have accidentally turned on 'accessibility mode' which permanently increases the font size. You can check by looking in other apps. If they all have an increased font size, that's the problem.
You can also check and amend..
'Settings', 'General', 'Accessibility' and check what it's set to.
Another possibility is that you've double-tapped the screen - that zooms it - double tap the screen again to switch between zoom and non-zoom modes.
A final possibility is that you've used the 'pinch gesture' with two fingers, where you can zoom the screen more-or-less indefinitely by putting two fingers on the screen and moving them apart - easiest done with the thumb and forefinger of one hand. Using those same two fingers and 'pinching' them together reverses the zoom process.
Zooming can be useful to gain access to small 'controls' on a web page, or to highlight a specific word in an app, when the text is too small to click on it easily.
These gestures are described in the iPad manual
