Printing from ipad via wifi

Is it possible to print via wifi to a wifi printer from say pages on the iPad

Hi, as far as I know your wifi printer must be 'Air Print' enabled, which means it must be compatible with a certain type of printer. If it isn't, you can get various apps to do this for you, I use Epson Iprint which basically does the same.
Google 'Air Print' compatible printers to see if yours is on the list.

Hi. I've googled it and it's not air print comparable. What app would I need it's a basic Epson desktop printer?

If its a Wi Fi Epson printer, then look in the app store for 'Epson iprint' it's free and although it doesn't give you too many options, it works fine
