Problem with Google app

One of the first apps that I downloaded was the app from Google (with the voice search) . Up until about fifteen minutes ago, it was working perfectly and then it started coming up with a message that reads "No microphone found". Can anyone help me with this? Thanks.

Have you tried rebooting your iPad?

Perfect.

I usually reboot my iPad at least once per day just as a proactive thing.

I believe that Google Search is both processor and memory intensive. While the voice recognition is excellent, it seems to me that the app is still somewhat unstable though still eminently usable.

I've found the instant search for Google to really slow down searches sometimes. I've turned it off when I can.
