I downloaded the above mentioned app which was of 68.5 mb.after that when I checked my storage it showed that the app has taken 400 mb of my ipad.please help me with this , cuz I have already run out of memory.

The only thing you can do is to delete some items from your iPad, that will free up the memory you need.
