Pulldown notification

Notice on my friends iPhone, after updating, they have a pull down notification screen with scrolling financial and the current weather. Is that available on the iPad?

I have the pull down option but don't see the weather or stock info...that would be good info to know...

Unfortunately, the iPad doesn't get the stock or weather info on the notification bar (those apps don't come stock on the iPad).

Maybe someday a developer will invent ones that work with the notification center. Just not right now...
