putting itunes on new computer

my netbook ran out of room during a backup to itunes, but my ipad 2 has
all the files needed to move to a new computer. i just would like to install itunes where there is space to take in the ipad content.

the netbook used xp the new windows 7.

the content should fit onto a flash drive. please point me in the right direction. its mostly pdfs, photo, emails but really no video or music so it should fit onto a flash drive.

I've used the steps outlined in this article to transfer my iTunes from a Windows XP SP3 laptop to my current Windows 7 Professional (with no hitches): Transferring your iTunes Library | iLounge Article

Then, once you've moved over to the new PC, you'll need to set it up as the place for your iPad to connect to. Take a look at this thread for the way how (see post #6): http://www.ipadforums.net/ipad-help/28475-syncing-ipad-new-itunes-library-impossible.html. The key here is to use "transfer purchases" before any syncing or backups.
