Award-winning iPhone racing game Rally Master Pro is coming to iPad, Fishlabs has announced today, with the beta version of the game due to be introduced by the developer at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, from August 16th to 18th.
iPad owners can look forward to experiencing the game's sophisticated driving physics, which individually calculate each wheel according to the weather and the corresponding driving characteristics. This, coupled with customisable controls, makes for a hard-core rallying experience across 27 courses. Each unique course includes many different challenges for the rally driver, including tight curves, wet asphalt, and icy turns. Just as in a real rally, your co-pilot sits beside you, giving you instructions as you go.
The game also has an interactive replay feature, where the player can study their performance using many different vehicle and TV cameras. There's also a 3D damage model that provides information about the condition of your car at any time, and if necessary you can repair your vehicle between stages in a variety of mini-games.
The game's graphics have been enhanced for the iPad version, as you can see from the brand new iPad screenshots that have been released, and will now be running at 1024 x 768. A new Arcade mode has also been introduced, which players can activate for every course, where vehicles don't take any damage, making it easier for novice players to beat the tough time limits. A new ghost function has also been added to the iPad version's Time Trial mode, to help drivers train more intensely so that they can improve their best times in Simulation mode.
No word yet as to price or release date for the iPad version.
