Really these apps are great for kids. But i prefer much the app Math Easy HD which is paid but very very useful for kids who are learning math. Also the apps Happy Connect and Math Color HD is too good for preschool kids. Thanks for introducing these great apps.

If you're looking for an app to learn the alphabet, you might like Animal Alphabet by 7H. Availiable in the App Store in two versions:
Lite: Animal Alphabet (Free Version) for iPad on the iTunes App Store

I just finished creating 2 ibooks for kids learning their ABC's. They are fully animated, the first one features animals, and the second one, machines. They both have free sample books that can be downloaded, or purchase the full version for $2.99. These are the first 2 apps I have make so would really appreciate any feedback you guys mioght have!

Kids love dinosaurs and the best app on the subject is probably Inside the World of Dinosaurs. I can't praise it enough, it really is wonderful. Lots of 3D models, gorgeous animations, tons of info and narration by the talented Stephen Fry (V for Vendetta, Black Adder).

A great kids app series is KiDSAPP by Labotec

they are both educational and fun

There's KiDSAPP HD: The Farm

KiDSAPP in Africa

and KiDSAPP Pocket Farm for iPhone

they include puzzels and tracing exercises

they are working on a new installment called KiDSAPP Princess
that should come out soon
