Record Dj mixing from turntables.

Hi all , I have just purchased a phono to minijack lead for my mixer to ipad ( plug into earphone socket at the top ) is there anyway an app etc that I can record my mixing through the ipad3 ? Would be very grateful for some help as Im struggling to find an answer on google, is it actually possible ?

Mmm I ws just notified that someone had replied to my above post, but theres nothing there, I did think wow that was a really quick answer :-(

No matter what app you might use, you'll need a hardware phono preamp with RIAA equalization.
