refurb ipad 1 3g already activated???

i just recieved a refurb 16gb 3g ipad 1 i bought from cowboom.

when i turned it on the 3g was already activated and working.
i didn't sign up for anything and when i select view account under cellular data it asks me for a username and password because the fields are blank...

did i just get lucky? is the sim that came with it attached to someone else's account and probably just be turned off in a month when they recieve the bill?

You will not be able to use 3G unless you know the account name and password and, even if you did and were to use the account, this would - in effect - be stealing because you are not paying for access to the service. Remove the SIM card and then choose your own service provider. They will provide you with the necessary account name and password.
