Remove access to photos

There is no way to prevent access to photos in the stock Photo app (unless you jailbreak).
However, there are several apps available in the App Store that you can buy that allow you to create locked folders. Of course, the names of themescape me at the moment, but I should imagine a quick Google search will help you find some names. Of course, someone else will probably come along shortly and tell you what apps they have...

Photosafe or secure album are two choices which I think you could use.
