Rollover menu problem since ios5

Before iOS 5, tapping a menu that would drop with a mouse rollover, would perform that mouse rollover but not click the button.
But since the upgrade it drops the menu, but also clicks the top option in the menu, making it impossible to select anything else.
Is there a solution to this?

Update.
Standard websites work fine. My issue seems to be with a JavaScript Facebook app.

I have the same problem on my own web site - works fine on MAC and PC, works fine on ios up to 5, on ipod touch, iphone and ipad, but not iOS5.
Exactly as you describe. The dropdown menu doesn't - just the first item is taken.
Since this affects many site navigations, I do hope Apple are working on it.
Did you get any solution or further understanding up to now?

OMG! I thought i was the only one... It really sux because the kids schools use Edline which uses this rollover thing and now I cant check their grades on my ipad since upgrading to iOS5. Its horrible. also had a nother glitch with Outlook Web Access in Safari. Now wont let me insert text or type anything ele in a message if I move the cursor.

so thats two big uses of my ipad now gone since iOs5, really kicking myslef for applying the update.

You think it will get fixed?
