What was the one app you were the most excited about getting but once you got it you found it was a total waste?

There was an app that promised to convert a website (up to x levels deep) into a PDF file. I wanted to get the html manual for my camera into a PDF so I could have it with me without using a webpage. The app failed to work. The developer still updates it though...so maybe one day I will test it again.
