Safari shortcut resets iPad 2

I have 2 shortcuts and when tapped Safari opens, pauses and the the iPad is reset - Apple logo appears then shuts down.

Other shortcuts work OK and the 2 that cause the problem have been used many times under IOS 7.....

Does anyone have similar experience ?

Also notice when reset the usage figures are cleared !

If by shortcuts you mean Safari bookmarks saved to the homescreen, then I think the transition to iOS 8 has "broken" them.

I had to re-make a screen shortcut that worked fine under iOS 7. So, may I suggest you delete those shortcuts and make new ones?

Good thinking, although other similar shortcuts, sorry I mean bookmarks, are perfectly OK.
