TUAW reports that Literature & Latte’s popular Mac writing app, Scrivener, will soon be coming to the iPad. Literature & Latte is working on developing the app itself, and has recently written a blog explaining why the app is taking a long time to get right (if you’ll pardon the pun!). According to Literature & Latte, the company has been busy beavering away from December until now designing the app and testing out the features to see which ones are best suited to appear on the iPad version of the app. So, while those waiting for the app will need to be patient a little while longer, they can wait safe in the knowledge that when it does finally reach the App Store, it will have a working binder, a corkboard and a rich text editor, as well as access to labels, status, synopses, notes and project notes, according to TUAW. The forthcoming app will also have the ability to seamlessly sync your project to your iPad without closing the one running on your PC or Mac. Look for the Scrivener for iPad app to be released towards the end of the year.
