I've been using Appcuity (ProVUE Development) as my primary gateway to the Mac App Store (MAS). This external database of MAS information provides rapid searching, sorting and filtering, along with app pricing history, 1-click "on sale" filtering, side-by-side comparison, ....
On my new iPad 2, I'm at a loss using Apple's native interface for the iOS App Store. Browsing categories and simple search just doesn't cut it.
My search for an Appcuity-like service for the iOS App Store turned up only the Yahoo! App Search website and the companion Yahoo! AppSpot iPhone app. I find them inferior to the App Store.
Have I overlooked a useful portal to the iOS App Store?
