send mail in outbox

have one email stuck in outbox which won't let me send - can anyone advise please?

Close Mail, then double press the home button to reveal the multitask bar. Long press on the mail app until a minus sign appears on it. Touch the minus sign. The app will disappear from the multitask bar. Press the home key once to restore the screen to normal. Now restart mail and your stuck email should be sent.
