Sending email on iPad

Hi ........Please be aware that I'm not very technical !

I took ages writing an e mail and somehow it disappeared. I eventually found it in '' drafts" unsent. I presses edit but only delete lit up. I wanted it to go back somewhere I could resend it which it seems I can't from drafts . Help would be appreciated!

In Drafts, the email will looks like this, somehow:

Tap somewhere in the email (in the text or below it), and this will happen:

That's how you can send it.
