server connection failed

I can't read, login into my yahoo account to read my mail as it keeps saying Cannot get mail , the connection to the server has failed. What does this mean and how can I read my mail!!! Frustrated !

Hi, Kim! Welcome to iPF!

This can happen when Yahoo itself has problems (that's not the case at the moment), or if there's a fault in your settings, or if you changed your password for the account, but didn't do so on your iPad, ....

In most cases deleting the account and reinstalling it will help.
