I am trying to set up my Ipad to sync my Exchange 2003 email. I can get to OWA via Safari by typing in url/username/password and it works fine. WHen i try to add the account via Microsoft Exchange on the Ipad, it fails with unable to verify account information. I did notice in my firewall log that the connection coming from the Ipad is using port 443 (https). Our Exchange server only uses port 80 (http) for OWA. How do i force the Exchange Active sync connection from the ipad to connect using port 80 only?

I don't see a reply to the port number in the firewall question.
The setup on the IPad for an Exchange account is fairly straight forward. However, I still only get the error "unable to verify account information". Do I need to open a port and/or is there an Exchange setting that needs to be changed? I know that in the past, IPhones wouldn't do Windows authentication so that had to be turned off for OWA to work. Is there something similar to that I need to do?
