Simultaneously listen to music and surfing safari

Hi all,
I've been reading several forum posts on probs regarding multitasking etc etc.
i just wish to be able to listen to my music and be able to surf the web at the same time. Not much of a deal IMO, but my piad always stops playing music whenever i activate Safari.
Not jailbroken or anything.

hope you wizards can help me out!

try opening safari.
double click home button
on the bottom section that comes up, scroll all the way to the left
you should have iPod controls there where you can hit play to start the music back up.

What version firmware are you on?

After opening Safari, double tap home button, scroll left to iPod/Music app, then hit play again.

This may not help you in the way you want, but I got an app called "Tunein Radio". Its free. You can tune in, over the internet, to thousands of radio stations. I am able to listen to Tunein Radio and surf the internet.

I have skullcandy headset that allows me to listen to my music as im surfing the web with out opening my library.
