For some reason Siri no longer talks. I checked and I do have talking selected. Is there anything else I should be checking?

Just to be certain, you have Prefer Spoken Response selected in Settings? (shown below)
Other than make you have not silenced Alerts in the Control Panel. Keep in mind Silence Alerts does not affect music and most games. Just the sounds the iPhone makes to notify you of something, and 'maybe' Siri. Not sure.
Other than that, I'm not sure. The fact that the settings uses the word "Prefer" suggests that there will still be situations in which Siri does not respond vocaly.

Thanks for your response. All that was good. I contacted Apple support and they told me the same thing. Scratching my head. l will figure it out.
