Just close the chat?

When I am done with a skype chat, I just click on the settings symbol in the right upper corner and press Close chat. I don't think there is a real skype chat history, or I have yet to find it.

Just fyi, new skype update allows video calls to be recieved n seen on ipad, in case u didnt know ;-)

If you mean what I think you mean, on the left where it says Recent, and then there is the name of the person you were chatting with, swipe from right to left on their name and a 'clear' option should come up.
