Skype on ipad2 - my audio to friends is distorted

Get really bad distorted sound from the play back on Skype. The app store have checked my iPad & say that there are no faults. Help..

I use Skype on a regular basis from various places and I've found that the distortion/jerky video etc, for the most part is the fault of the download rate of the server that you are using. Sometimes if in a hotel, I'll hook up my Airport Express to the in-room cable and make my own wireless network. This usually solves the problem as the cable hook up is generally better than the hotel's wireless network.

I Skype to China almost daily on my iPad2, 13" MacBook Pro, and MacPro quad core. I have had no issues with any of my hardware. The only problems I have encountered I would consider due to possibly software, but more likely internet connection glitches and slow throughput.
